For the first time in the history of Formula 1, the circuit in Portimao is on the calendar. Due to the corona pandemic the Portuguese circuit got a spot and today the Portuguese Grand Prix is held in Portimao. The starting grid seemed to change after qualifying on Saturday because of drivers who were still being investigated by the FIA, but in the end no penalties were handed out. This means that Lewis Hamilton can start from pole position, with his teammate Valtteri Bottas next to him on the second starting spot.
