McLaren driver Lando Norris has apologised for making “careless” comments about his Formula 1 opponents at the Portuguese Grand Prix. Norris was involved in a collision with Lance Stroll during the race – for which the Racing Point driver was penalised – and dropped out of the top 10. Post-race Norris suggested that Stroll “doesn’t seem to learn” as he pointed to the Canadian’s FP2 clash with Max Verstappen at the same corner.
