Imola’s F1 return to take place behind closed doors after late U-Turn
The Italian government has made a late decision to ban spectators from attending this weekend’s Formula 1 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix. Check out the Crash F1 YouTube channel - CLICK HERE
Fans had initially been granted permission to attend F1’s first race to be held at Imola since the 2006 San Marino Grand Prix, with the circuit given the green light to sell 13,000 tickets. But a spike in new coronavirus cases across Western Europe, including Italy, has forced a U-Turn from Italian authorities to ensure the race is held behind closed doors.
