Williams boss reiterates '21 line-up, apologises for confusion
Williams has reiterated that George Russell and Nicholas Latifi will continue with the squad in 2021, putting to bed rumours over its line-up. Williams confirmed in July that Russell and Latifi will again form its pairing next season but doubts emerged in recent weeks. Rumours suggested that new owners Dorilton Capital, which acquired the company in August, were evaluating whether to replace Russell with Sergio Perez. Acting team boss Simon Roberts refused to clarify the situation at the Portuguese Grand Prix though Russell stressed that his position was safe and suggested the Perez camp was fuelling rumours.
