Warning light panels mandatory from 2022

All Formula 1 and MotoGP circuits will have be fitted with warning light panels from 2022 in yet another step towards making racing safer. Formula 1 is already using light panels in all grands prix, the panels situated around the track mimicking many of the marshals actions such as yellow or red flags. They also give weather warnings, such as alerting drivers to rain. However, the panels are not permanent features at the circuits with Formula 1 transporting them to each race. As of 2022, every circuit that both Formula 1 and MotoGP race on will have to have its own warning panels.
