Grosjean sends message to Bahraini track volunteers for helping to keep him alive

Romain Grosjean has sent a message of gratitude to the Bahraini marshals who assisted in his extraction after his horrific incident on lap one of the Bahrain Grand Prix. Grosjean remains in hospital as treatment continues for the burns suffered whilst escaping the burning wreck of his Haas which became intertwined with the retaining barrier on the exit of turn three. Article continues under video The Frenchman was able to emerge relatively unscathed due to the quick work of the FIA medical team of Dr Ian Roberts and Alan van der Merwe as well as the courageous efforts of the volunteers at the Sakhir International Circuit.
