Hamilton ‘devastated’ to miss Sakhir GP

Lewis Hamilton Lewis Hamilton says he’s “devastated” he’ll miss this weekend’s Sakhir Grand Prix, ending a record run of 265 consecutive starts in Formula 1. This week the seven-time F1 champion has been ruled out of the second race at the Bahrain International Circuit after testing positive for COVID-19. The 35-year-old will self-isolate for a little over a week, meaning he’ll be unable to compete for Mercedes in the penultimate grand prix of the season.
