Mercedes Will ‘Take Care’ Of Bottas To Prevent Russell Making Him Look Bad – Ex-F1 Driver

For the first time in his F1 career, George Russell will be driving a car capable of competing at the sharp end of the field at this weekend’s Sakhir Grand Prix. Russell, who was called up by Mercedes at short notice after Lewis Hamilton tested positive for COVID-19 earlier in the week, has said that no one can replace the seven-time World Champion, but he’ll unquestionably be looking to have a strong weekend to make his case for a 2022 Silver Arrows seat.
