Russell makes it two out of two as he tops FP2 in Bahrain
George Russell made it two out of two in FP2 at the Sakhir Grand Prix, as he topped the second session of the day on the outer loop. Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez made up the top three. This time last week Russell was preparing for the Bahrain Grand Prix in a Williams. Fast forward a week, and the Young Brit was in a Mercedes, topping the timesheets for the second session in a row. His time of 54.713 was enough for top spot, and well and truly established himself as a competitor for the race this weekend.
