Stroll Sr: If Lance wasn’t my son nobody would question his place in F1

Lawrence Stroll has once again come to the defence of his son Lance, claiming that no one 'would be questioning' the 22-year-old's spot in Formula 1 if he was not his son. Racing Point's decision to replace Sergio Perez with Sebastian Vettel for the 2021 season was contested by a number of fans and pundits, many of whom felt that Stroll junior deserved to lose his seat instead of the Mexican racer. As it happened, Perez will race alongside Max Verstappen at Red Bull this year, with the young Canadian set to test himself against a four-time world champion in the shape of Vettel.
