Verstappen believes Red Bull could have dominated F1

Max Verstappen says that Red Bull could have extended its strong hold over the sport to something like the levels enjoyed today by Mercedes - if not for the impact of hybrid engines. Red Bull won four consecutive constructors championships from 2010 to 2013 with Sebastian Vettel. But a change to the engine regulations to introduce hybrids swung things toward Mercedes, who since 2014 have won a record seven back-to-back championships "If at the end of 2013 - if the regulations wouldn't have changed - I think Red Bull could have done the same," Verstappen told Motorsport.com this week.
