Report: Sauber set to sign new Ferrari engine deal until 2025

Sauber Formula 1 team will extend its power-unit deal with Ferrari until 2025, according to Motorsport.com. It had been rumoured that Sauber could switch over to Renault power, but the team now looks to set to extend the engine partnership that began back in 2010. The partnership deepened in 2019 when the team adopted the name of Ferrari sister-brand, Alfa Romeo, a deal that was renewed for another season back in October. Ferrari junior driver Antonio Giovinazzi has raced for Alfa over the past two seasons and the team are said to be keen on maintaining the stability that the partnership with Ferrari brings.
