Rich Energy Claims Ecclestone Is ‘Backing’ Them Ahead Of F1 Return
Former Haas title sponsor Rich Energy has claimed that ex-F1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone played a role in their apparent upcoming return to Formula One. In a tweet posted on Sunday, the energy drink brand said: “A huge thank you to the king of F1 for being such a great supporter of our founder William Storey & for backing us. READ: Lewis Hamilton & Mercedes Agree New £35mn Per Year Deal – Reports “Our return to Formula One due in no small part to the business genius of Bernie Ecclestone,” Rich Energy added.
