Correa back behind the wheel 533 days after Spa tragedy

Juan Manuel Correa slot himself behind the wheel of single-seater race car yesterday at Paul Ricard, 533 days after the 21-year-old tragic Formula 2 crash at Spa in August, 2019. The Ecuadorian-American hopeful was severely injured in the horror crash that claimed the life of French driver and Renault protégé Anthoine Hubert during the Belgian GP weekend. Correa endured months of hardship and underwent 26 surgeries to regain his mobility and strength, and the hope of pursuing his career in motorsport.
