Sainz wants to be world champion with Ferrari: 'Just need some time'
Carlos Sainz will drive his first year in the red of Ferrari in 2021. The Spaniard says he does not want to be second driver there to Charles Leclerc, but wants to fight for the drivers' title. World title the ultimate goal Ferrari had a dramatic 2020, but the team says it is on its way back to the top with regained speed on the straights. Sainz dreams of more with Ferrari and believes it is the ideal place to win his first world title. "For me to get to drive for Ferrari at the age of 26 is something I have always strived for", the Spaniard said according to SoyMotor at the Ferrari presentation.
