Sam Bird extended his run of winning a race in every season since the inception of Formula E with an excellent drive for Jaguar in a thrilling, if not slightly anticlimactic, Diriyah E-Prix. After Nyck de Vries sealed a lights-to-flag victory in race one on Friday, Bird ensured that race two was far more dramatic, coming from third on the grid to take victory following an ongoing battle for the lead with polesitter and former teammate Robin Frijns, who had to settle for second.
