Verstappen practice double puts Mercedes and Hamilton in the shade

Ian Parkes Friday 26 march 2021 16:00 Max Verstappen completed a practice double ahead of the Bahrain Grand Prix to add further fuel to the belief Red Bull will be the team to beat this weekend. Whilst practice times generally have to be taken with a pinch of salt, the fact Red Bull and Verstappen have quickly followed up their leading times from testing with further confirmation of the RB16B's pace in practice further suggests Mercedes has its work cut out in qualifying and for the race.
