Aston Martin confident Vettel ‘will get there'

Otmar Szafnauer has refused to read too much into Sebastian Vettlel's early days at Aston Martin, reiterating his confidence in the German driver. Vettel is one of the most decorated drivers in Formula 1 history, having won four World Championships, but it goes without saying he has had a difficult few years of late. He finished P13 with Ferrari's below-par power unit last season and has made a poor start to life with his new team, Aston Martin. Vettel ended the race in P15 at the Bahrain Grand Prix, but that is not even close to the whole story, with the former Red Bull man picking up five penalty points over the course of the weekend and starting bottom of the grid.
