Bahrain wants to organize season opener and winter test again in 2022

Just like last year, Formula 1 in 2021 started in a different way than planned. The Bahrain International Circuit was allowed to host the opening race and the organisation is open to do that again in 2022. In recent years we have become accustomed to the Australian Grand Prix as the very first race of the season. Although there is a lot of enthusiasm beforehand to see the cars finally back on track and compare the teams, the spectacle on the asphalt of Melbourne is often not to write home about.
