Frijns does not blame incident for good result: 'Would have still been fourth'.

The first E-Prix of Rome has caused quite some chaos, with many incidents. One of the drivers who was able to benefit from this is Robin Frijns, who finished in fourth place. The race in Rome could not start normally, due to rain that wet the asphalt between qualifying and the start. That meant a start behind the Safety Car, led by Mercedes' Stoffel Vandoorne. Once the Safety Car had gone back in, the action could really get underway, with Robin Frijns doing well. "I felt competitive in the early stages when the track was still wet.
