Rinus van Kalmthout, also known as Rinus VeeKay, will start his second season in the IndyCar Series this week. He will have to do so with a broken finger, an injury he suffered during the first test day before the Indy 500. Van Kalmthout already indicated that he is experiencing little discomfort from his broken finger. In conversation with the Dutch branch of Motorsport.com he tells that the heavy crash was caused by a combination of a gust of wind and some inexperience.
