Perez blames last corner mistake for missing out on pole
Sergio Perez will start his second race for Red Bull from second place on the grid in Imola - but the Mexican believes that he could have got pole if not for a mistake at the last corner of his flying lap. “I should have been on pole today," Perez told the media after the end of qualifying for the 2021 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix on Saturday. "I did a mistake on my final corner. "I think it's everything positive," he added. “We just have to make sure that we keep progressing, and tomorrow is what matters."
