Development of low-profile F1 tyres continues

Pirelli's 18-inch tyres on the Mercedes F1 car in late 2019 Development of the 18-inch tyres for the 2022 Formula 1 season is going well, according to Pirelli’s motorsport boss Mario Isola. Teams currently sport 13-inch wheels on their cars, but the introduction of new regulations next year will see that increase significantly.
