Mercedes test new Pirelli tyres, Ferrari give Sainz extra practice time

Ferrari and Mercedes are not sitting still after the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix. Mercedes stayed in Imola for a test with Pirelli's new tyres, and Ferrari is busy with a new test on its own Fiorano circuit. Tests for Mercedes and Ferrari This season all Formula 1 teams will test the new tyres from Pirelli for 2022. The Italian tyre supplier will then introduce new 18-inch tyres, which will require some adjustment for the teams.
