Red Bull really will continue with its own engine in Formula 1 from 2025!

Red Bull Racing announced Friday afternoon that it has signed Ben Hodgkinson. Hodgkinson comes over from the Mercedes team and will take up the role of technical director at the Austrian racing team. The new addition to Red Bull's team will focus on preparing for the new engine regulations that come into effect in 2025. There will be an engine freeze in motorsport's premier class from next season and new rules for power units from 2025. Red Bull will drive with Honda engines for the next few years, but will then continue with its own power units.
