Ferrari: 90% or 95% of our focus is on 2022 regulations

Ferrari sporting director Laurent Mekies confirmed at the Spanish Grand Prix that the Scuderia's focus is now very much on development for the 2022 sporting regulations. The Maranello based team have made a strong start to the 2021 season and appear to be in the fight with McLaren for the best of the rest spot in the constructors' championship. However, with the introduction of the new cost cap and the emphasis Ferrari have placed on getting the new generation of cars right, they have decided to bring limited upgrades throughout the rest of this season.
