Azerbaijan remains on F1 calendar until 2024, no date swap with Turkey

The Azerbaijan Grand Prix will remain on the calendar at least until 2024, the race organisers confirmed today. The Grand Prix first appeared on the calendar in 2017 and only had to skip the 2020 edition due to the corona pandemic. New contract In 2019, the organization signed a three-year contract through 2023, but because the 2020 edition did not materialize, 2024 has been added to the deal. " It is important for us as a country to show that we are on the right track to eradicate Covid-19 and get the country out of this pandemic," Baku City Circuit executive director Arif Rahimov told Autosport.com.
