Bad weekend for Alonso: 'His tyres didn't work'

The Monaco GP was one to forget for the Alpine F1 team. Despite the result of Esteban Ocon in ninth place, the team lost a lot of points. Fernando Alonso missed out on points and finished only in 13th place. Due to the good results of Aston Martin and Scuderia AlphaTauri, the team of Alpine drops two spots down in the constructors' championship. In an interview with Motorsport.com Marcin Budkowski, the executive director of Enstone, tells the following: "It could have been worse. Unfortunately, our competitors got the most out of the race, and especially those behind us who scored even bigger points because two of the leaders crashed out.
