Pit stops of a different kind as Circuit Gilles Villeneuve becomes vaccination hub

Article To news overview © Canadian Grand Prix The Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve in Montreal has opened up its doors as a vaccination facility for the city, with residents able to apply for a pit stop of a different kind. The Canadian Grand Prix promoters, together with the City of Montreal, Quebec government and the Centre Sud de L'lle de Montreal University Integrated Health and Social Services Centre have opened up twenty of the pit garages as drive through vaccination points. The aim is to administer 6000 vaccines over the next three weekends. During the weekend of May 29 and 30, there will be 500 drop-in doses for cyclists using the track, as well as 500 pre-booked appointments. The...
