Roberts leaves Williams, with CEO Capito taking on Team Principal role

Williams Racing has announced that Team Principal Simon Roberts will leave the Formula 1 team with CEO Jost Capito absorbing his Team Principal duties. Roberts joined Williams last June in the newly-created role of Managing Director, before taking over as Acting Team Principal when the Williams family sold the team last August. On 17 December, the Grove-based outfit announced that Roberts was to be made the permanent Team Principal of Williams Racing. Williams seems to continue its restructing process following the arrival of new owners Dorilton Capital.
