Lewis Hamilton ran a long stint on the hard tyre, but didn't have enough grip left at the end to stay ahead of Max Verstappen's fresher medium tyre. Verstappen extends his lead to 12 points in the World Championship, adding pressure to Mercedes.  Hamilton managed to come second. "There are lots of positives to take from today.
