Norris frustrated by penalty that cost him P2: It was stupid

Article To news overview © McLaren McLaren's Lando Norris may have finished in third place in Austria, but the young British driver felt he missed out on second place as a result of an early incident with Red Bull's Sergio Perez. Perez had been trying to overtake Norris just after an early Safety Car, trying around the outside of Turn 4. Perez was run out of room and ended up in the gravel, with Norris picking up a five second time penalty as a result. Serving the penalty at the pit stop, Norris ended up shuffled behind Valtteri Bottas and finished just behind the Mercedes at the chequered flag.
