It was just a formality, but the FIA officially announced on Thursday that it agrees with Pirelli's new rear tyres. These will be introduced by the Italian tyre supplier during the race weekend at Silverstone. That is what the FIA announced in a publication of decisions of the World Motor Sport Council.
