Cassidy grabs pole for E-prix in New York, Mortara misses out

The qualifying for the E-prix of New York is over. The pole position is for Nick Cassidy, who was the fastest in the battle for the super pole with a time of 1:09.338. The Dutch drivers didn't quite manage to set fast times. Robin Frijns will start from eleventh place, while Nyck de Vries was eighteenth. Stoffel Vandoorne will start from 21st. Group qualifying makes for surprising starting grid The Formula E qualifying session is a group effort based on the championship standings. The top 6 drivers are the first on the track, which puts them at a significant disadvantage. On the other hand, those who are not in the best position have a chance to get a good starting position.
