Perez hopes to quickly forget this unpleasant memory of Silverstone

If you try and compare Sergio Perez' s race weekends at Silverstone in 2020 and 2021 you will see a world of difference before the race begins on Friday. Not only did the Mexican driver have to settle for a car positioned in midfield the previous year, but he was also forced to miss out on the weekend in England due to his corona contamination at the time. "It's been a while since I drove here," Perez began in conversation with Speedweek journalists. "I can still remember missing out on Silverstone because of that rotten Covid-19 infection."
