After Spielberg, Silverstone is another "weekend to forget" according to Perez

After a disappointing display in Spielberg at the Austrian Grand Prix, Sergio Perez needed a boost. A good performance at Silverstone would have been the perfect antidote. In England, however, the Mexican went even further. During the sprint race on Saturday he spun off the track due to driver error and the team decided to bring him in a lap before the end so they could at least make some changes to his car for the race on Sunday. Disappointed In the race on Sunday Perez fought his way back to eighth place, but because Red Bull Racing wanted to take the point for fastest lap from Lewis Hamilton, Perez was sacrificed.
