Mercedes 'pretty chipper' about W12 Silverstone upgrade

Mercedes tech boss James Allison says the aero package introduced by the team last weekend at Silverstone has allowed the Brackley squad to "close some ground" on arch-rival Red Bull Racing. Mercedes headed into the British Grand Prix weekend eager to put an end to Red Bull's five-race winning streak. To turn around their fortunes, the reigning world champions banked on their past track record at Silverstone but more importantly on an upgrade package which that hoped would improve the performance of their 2021 car.
