Red Bull breathe sigh of relief over Verstappen's engine

Article To news overview © Formula 1 After some initial concerns over whether the Honda engine inside Max Verstappen's Red Bull could be salvaged following his accident at the British GP, the team's advisor Helmut Marko has confirmed the team can continue to use the power unit. The accident has proven costly for the Milton Keynes outfit with team principal Christian Horner recently stating that repairs will cost $1.8 million. One positive is that a new Honda engine will not be needed after Marko revealed Honda have checked Verstappen's power unit and deemed it to be fit for use.
