Marko still calling for Hamilton race ban

Article To news overview © Mercedes Red Bull advisor Helmut Marko says he is hoping the stewards reassess the penalty that was given to Lewis Hamilton at Silverstone when his team attend their summons via a video conference on Thursday. Hamilton was given a 10 second time penalty and two penalty points on his superlicence for causing a collision with Max Verstappen, which Marko feels is not harsh enough as the seven-time world champion went on to win the British Grand Prix.
