Sainz crashes hard and brings out red flag in Q2

Carlos Sainz is out of qualifying at the Hungaroring after a heavy crash at the final turn of the track. Ferrari were looking to gurantee their place in Q3 but instead Sainz is out. The Spaniard lost control at the last turn and crashed into the barrier, bringing out the red flag. This all just seconds after Charles Leclerc went second fastest, displacing Max Verstappen for P2 behind Lewis Hamilton.  The session was red flagged with just under seven minutes left of Q2.  Video player More videos
