Hamilton scorches to pole as title battle boils over

Lewis Hamilton Lewis Hamilton has taken pole position for the Formula 1 Hungarian Grand Prix as the games between he and Max Verstappen came to the fore. It’s a Mercedes front-row lock-out for Sunday's race, with Bottas second best with Red Bull's Max Verstappen and Sergio third and fourth respectively. However, the talking point were the games played by Hamilton with his championship rival in the final minutes of the session.
