Qualifying duels | Russell and Gasly on maximum score
Lewis Hamilton won the qualifying session for the Hungarian Grand Prix, consolidating his lead over Valtteri Bottas. Max Verstappen 'only' finished third, but still managed to beat teammate Sergio Perez. It's starting to become a bit of a sore point for the experienced Mexican. Red Bull Racing have always said they brought him in for Sundays and that he doesn't need to beat Verstappen in qualifying, but only in Imola did Perez manage to qualify ahead of his Dutch teammate.
