Doornbos analyses Bottas' mistake: 'Then 600 metres is a very long time'
The Hungarian Grand Prix was dominated by the first corner, in which Valtteri Bottas made a conspicuous mistake, driving several drivers off the track. Robert Doornbos explains on Ziggo Sport what the Finn did wrong. "He has a bad start. That means he starts from second gear. You see that more often in the rain, because they want to avoid wheelspin," the analyst explained. "Then you hope you have the perfect get away, but he didn't have that. His teammate Hamilton and Verstappen did, as did the rest. Then 600 metres is a very long time to the first corner."
