Russell told Mercedes' 2022 driver decision

George Russell says he has been told where he is driving in the 2022 Formula 1 season, as Lewis Hamilton praised his young compatriot as an "incredibly talented driver". Although there has been no announcement from Mercedes yet on the identity of Hamilton's team-mate for next season, all signs are pointing to Russell being named in the seat with long-time incumbent Valtteri Bottas heading to Alfa Romeo to replace Kimi Raikkonen, who announced on Wednesday night that he is retiring at the end of the year.
