Horner: Important for Albon not to spend another year out of F1

Upon the news of Alex Albon's signing with Williams for 2022, Red Bull team boss Christian Horner says that it was important for its reserve driver not to spend another season on F1's sidelines. Albon will return to the fray with Williams next season, racing alongside Nicholas Latifi who will undertake next year his third season with the British outfit. While Albon was at the top of Williams' list of potential recruits to replace Mercedes-bound George Russell, the Anglo-Thai racer's situation was complicated by his affiliation with Red Bull.
