Perez critical of F1's 'very boring' Sprint format
Article To news overview © Red Bull Content Pool / Getty Images Sergio Perez hasn't held back in criticising Formula 1's Sprint Qualifying format, stating that it's boring for fans and drivers alike. Having made its debut at Silverstone back in July, the format returned for this weekend's Italian Grand Prix at Monza. Although Perez engaged in a battle with Aston Martin's Lance Stroll during Saturday's 18-lap Sprint, he described it afterwards as "very boring" and sees no benefit in having the additional race.
