Alonso doesn't understand concerns over 'boring' sprint race

The sprint race at Monza was the second time this season that Formula 1 has tried this format. It is an attempt to make the sport more attractive, but some drivers felt it was a bit of a disappointment today. Alonso doesn't understand why something new needs to be tried at all. According to the two-time world champion Formula 1 is always looking for improvements while sometimes that is not necessary at all. He makes a comparison with football: "They have so many boring matches and no drama is made of it.
