Sergio Perez finished the Italian Grand Prix in third place on the track, but was down to fifth in the final standings. This was due to a five second penalty, which Christian Horner cannot live with. Perez passed Charles Leclerc at the second chicane, but went off-track for it. Instead of giving the spot back immediately, Perez stayed in front of the man from Monaco.
