Pirelli suffered a big disappointment on Thursday

Pirelli saw the final day of testing for the 18-inch tyre go down the drain on Thursday. Due to a technical problem with Alpine's car, it could not take place, reports Motorsportweek.com. The test days took place on Wednesday and Thursday. Daniil Kvyat, who is this year's reserve driver for Alpine, was assigned to drive the two days. On Wednesday he was able to provide the necessary data, but on Thursday he was suddenly unable to continue the test.
