Horner believes in Perez: "Was the right and logical choice to keep him"

Sergio Perez has experienced highs and lows since joining Red Bull Racing. On the one hand he has shown he can be there when needed, but on the other he has not been consistent enough to be a reliable teammate for Max Verstappen. Christian Horner is confident that the Mexican will find his feet, something that has been confirmed with a contract extension. "We feel Checo has done enough to get a new contract," Horner wrote in his column on the official website of Red Bull Racing. "He knew what his role would be this year; to help Max and the team win the title. But with a brand new car in 2022 and the experience he has, it was the right and logical choice to keep him."...
